Meeting-conference under the theme
“Logistics and procurement in the digital age”
Thursday, February 27, 2020, starting at 5:00 p.m., at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS)
Batimatech, in partnership with the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), is organizing a meeting-conference during which two experts will explore the impact of digital technology on the logistics and procurement fields. The conference, which will be followed by a networking cocktail, will take place on Thursday, February 27, starting at 5:00 p.m. at ÉTS. Experts Daniel Vendette, president and founder of Conseil 2.0, a consulting firm that provides strategy, implementation, management and optimization services for the supply chain, and Amin Chaabane, professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at ÉTS, will discuss various aspects of this topic.
Daniel Vendette will discuss EDI (electronic data interchange), project ecosystems and the acquisition of goods and services in a project. For his part, Amin Chaabane will draw up a general portrait of the applications of logistics on construction sites, identify the technological advances that support logistics in construction projects today and talk about the mechanisms in place to finance research and development projects in construction logistics.
This conference-meeting will bring together players in the field of construction, technology, sustainable development, academia, operations managers, real estate developers and other professionals who wish to learn more about the subject and network with their peers.
